[TV Review] House MD – S06E01 – “Broken”

A review for the sixth-season opener of Fox’s House MD..
That was superb!
I might be the only one to think this but I thought that was actually better than about 90% of the episodes in Season 5.
I think it was the mixture of the new (and very different) surroundings, some stellar supporting performances (particularly from Andre Braugher – Dr Nolan – and Lin-Manuel Miranda – who played Alvie) and some very witty and fresh writing. [SotD 27/09/09] The Frames – “Seven Day Mile”

An excellent and relatively unknown Irish band until recently is The Frames. They are a very well renowned and respected band in Ireland but they never hit the same heights as the more commercial acts like Snow Patrol and The Script.
Then, their lead singer (Glen Hansard) won an Oscar last year for the film ‘[W: Once‘ in which he both starred as the lead actor and major contributor to the soundtrack (practically the whole soundtrack to be honest).
